sacred Heart Youth Faith Formation

- Important Registration/parent meeting Sept. 4th
  
  Family of Faith Formation is for-
  Grades K-7th
  K- 4th Grades will meet once a month, first Wednesday of the Month with Parents. The remainder of the month will be at home using the online & book curriculum.
  Parents will be mentored through the monthly lessons in the Parish Center and Children will have a joint project with a lesson in another meeting room. We will meet 6:00-7:00 pm first Wednesday of the Month with both parent and child.
  5th &6th will also be planning service projects and special events. Those are TBA.
  Confirmation Prep
  8th Grades OR Anyone who has not yet been confirmed may join this class for Confirmation Prep. We meet weekly, 6-7 pm and are using "The Chosen" Confirmation Prep program. We will also have service projects and special nights through the year. (A calendar will be provided)

  First Communion 2nd Grade will receive a calendar with special events that we have planned for them.

  REP cost will $65 and this will give you an online and book curriculum for every child.
  PLUS the Monthly activities

  We will be using "Word of Life" from Augustine Institute for our K-7th curriculum this year, with a Family of Faith format.
  8th will be using "The Chosen" Confirmation Prep by Ascension Press.
  Our mission in religious education is to work with parents to help form a new generation of Catholics who know and love Jesus Christ and live as his disciples in our Catholic Church and Community.
  While our children and youth will receive important formation in the parish religious education program, the Church strongly encourages all parents to walk closely with their children as they grow in knowledge and practice of the catholic faith. Statistics show if the parents are involved, it increases the chances of their children staying in the Church as they grow older. We hope and pray for a culture of faith lived within the Domestic Church, the family.
  Through our classes, First Communion Prep, Confirmation Prep, and other activities we pray our Religious Education Program sows the seeds of faith that will bloom eternally in each one of our children. and families.
